Permits

The installation of or modification to the following shall require a permit from the City of Georgetown.

• Fire Alarm System
• Fire Sprinkler System/ Standpipe System
• Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems
• Above and Underground Fuel Tank Systems
• LPG Systems
• Any unique fire system for special purpose or hazard

Before plans are accepted for review and permitting, a completed, signed application form shall be provided. The application form shall be accompanied by at least three complete sets of shop drawings, preferably drawn to 1/4” or 1/8” scale and shall include calculations and one set of manufacturer specifications.

• Fire Sprinkler Monitoring Plan $125.00
• Fire Sprinkler/Standpipe Systems Plan $275.00
• Fire Sprinkler Modification Plan – (less than 50 heads affected) $125.00
• Hood Suppression System Plan $125.00
• Fuel Tank Systems Plan $125.00
• LPG System Plan $125.00
• Certificate of Occupancy $80.00
• Certificate of Occupancy Re-inspections $50.00
• License Inspections $50.00
• Fire System Acceptance Inspections $50.00
• Fire Services Special Inspections $50.00
• Fire Service Re-inspection by (second, for the same violation) $30.00
• Additional Fire Services hours (or fraction thereof) beyond standard inspection $35.00
